Bridge Project

What bridge design can hold the most weight
On the 2nd week of term 3, 2017 lc7 decided to learn about science. We had three options: Science fair, work for a science badge, or another which I can't remember. Harrison and I chose to do the science fair, and brainstormed an idea. We gathered information, summarized it, and then made a detailed hypothesis. The next week we started building our experiment. We made the warren truss first, which took us the longest as we had to figure out what sort of base design would work best. Next we made the deck truss, and we managed to finish that one in about one hour. The beam bridge was by far the easiest as we only had to make the layout. Next we tested how much the different bridges could hold. The Warren truss managed to hold 3 kgs, the beam bridge survived 4 kgs and the deck truss also held 4 kgs.
