Callan's Evidence of learning

Lc3 has split off into different groups, for projects. The aim was for people to choose the group that had their hobby in it, with groups such as music, art and technology. Our group is starting to make a poofect toilet art… We are going to make different pieces of art, to decorate the toilets; like comics, sketches and paintings, but before that, we need to do a survey, on what people want. Our group consists of Evan, Aidan, Roger, Liam, Ethan, Patience, Natalia, Mikayla, Jesse, LJ, Chanel and Jacky. We have a month to decorate all the toilets including the gym, and the staff room, we are going to draw on the other learning columns, too. The hard bit with the drawing was the surveys, we started of with a survey on the devices, but it didn’t work out too well, and we had to change to pencil and paper. Beach Ed I really enjoyed the Beach Ed trip. They taught us all about rips and how to spot them. They showed us how to rescue people and took us on a tour of the beach and all they're vehicles and equipment. We also played beach flags, (I think thats what its called but i'm not sure) and Leroy beat everyone in that. We learnt how to stay safe near or in the beach and they showed us how to use first aid.      

The Chess Week On Monday there was a chess tournament on with another school, I didn’t compete but we still had a fun school vs school soccer game. And even though my school won by quite a few goals it was a fun day. I’ve also got pretty interested in robotic coding which i did two weeks ago. It was my first time and I loved it! On the second day I wrote a new book called The Age Of Ice, I’m really happy with it although I have not finished it yet. We usually play soccer however today I decided to join in with the people playing man hunt. I’ve nearly finished reading The Unwanted's, a really gripping story where there’s magic, betrayal, battles and sadness. On Wednesday it was back to soccer again! Bailey showed me some knew soccer skills and Harry was goalkeeper.
